EHS Manager

The EHS Manager coordinates implementation of the site EHS plan in accordance with company policies and procedures; provides information to the Project Director/Manager, Construction Manager and Superintendents regarding best safety practices and company health and safety plan. This role also provides safety practices and policy training to appropriate site personnel.This position requires the candidate to be present on the job site in Kalamazoo, MI during the weekdays.ResponsibilitiesWork with senior management to ensure organization’s OSHA complianceImplement OSHA programsManage emergency response incidentsImplement corrective actionsConduct or lead training in applicable OSHA areasEvaluate programs and issue recommendations and implement changeImplementation of the site EHS plan in accordance with company policies and proceduresProvides safety practices and policy training to appropriate site personnel
