Description Job Title: Human Resource ManagerOur Client is a dynamic and growing public accounting firm specializing in providing comprehensive financial services to a diverse client base. We are committed to delivering excellence in client service and maintaining a supportive and rewarding work environment for our team.Job Overview: As the Human Resource Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of human resources operations for our firm. This includes overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, and HR policy implementation. You will work closely with firm leadership to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new employees. Develop and execute effective onboarding programs to integrate new hires into the firm.
Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues. Promote a supportive and respectful workplace environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance evaluation processes. Provide guidance and support to managers on performance feedback, goal setting, and professional development opportunities.
Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development initiatives. Facilitate training sessions and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Compensation and Benefits: Administer employee compensation and benefits programs. Conduct market research to ensure competitive salary structures and benefits packages.
HR Policy and Compliance: Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
Employee Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance employee engagement and morale. Organize employee recognition programs and events to celebrate achievements and foster team spirit.
HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation. Prepare reports and analytics on HR metrics and trends for management review.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desirable.
Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in a professional services environment, preferably within the accounting or financial services industry.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar Human Resources (HR) Manager role within the CPA industry.
Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now platforms. Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential. Experience in using Ceridian and HRMS for HR management tasks. Knowledge of 'About Time' software would be beneficial. Ability to manage Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration. Strong understanding of Compliance regulations within the HR domain. Exceptional skillset in handling Employee Relations. Candidates must refrain from using discriminatory language as per the provided Discriminatory Words list. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively manage relationships across various departments. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
