Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Irrigation Installer and Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in irrigation system installation and service, along with strong plumbing knowledge and troubleshooting skills. In this role, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-quality landscape results for our clients while ensuring the long-term functionality of irrigation systems.
Irrigation Installer + Technician Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, and maintain irrigation systems, including irrigation controllers, drains, underground pipes, and related components.
Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues to ensure optimal performance.
Perform drain tile and underground installation as needed.
Operate construction and irrigation-related equipment.
Maintain knowledge of plumbing tools, pipe sizing, and relevant equipment.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
Collaborate with the landscape team to ensure efficient project execution.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company guidelines.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on-site.
Irrigation Installer + Technician Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 4 years of irrigation installation and service experience.
Skills: Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, plumbing tools, and related equipment.
Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.
Licenses: Valid Michigan Chauffeur’s License required. Michigan Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred. Clean driving record and reliable transportation to/from work.
Language Skills: English required. Spanish is beneficial but not required.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in an outdoor environment with heavy lifting and physical tasks.
Equipment: Experience operating irrigation and/or landscaping equipment preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience with drain tile and underground installation.
