Position: Professional Caregiver for adult male with limited mobility
Location: Grand Haven area
Duration: 1 month
Start Date: In 10 to 30 days
Hours: 2 hours per day, from 7 AM to 9 AM.
Days a week: 7 days (Can provide accommodations)
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and professional caregiver, preferably certified, to provide care for an individual in recovery. The caregiver will assist with daily tasks, assist in getting up from bed and ensure the well-being and comfort of the patient during the early morning hours.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Administering medications as prescribed
- Preparing light breakfast
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Monitoring health and reporting any changes
- Assisting with light exercises or physical therapy as needed
Requirements:
- Certification in caregiving (preferred)
- Experience in post-stroke care
- Ability to provide references from previous employers
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Basic first aid knowledge
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
