Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:We have exciting opportunities for Inpatient, Outpatient, and Mobile Phlebotomists/Lab Assistants. We are seeking people interested in part time, full time, and relief hours on day shift.Requirements:Six months Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred.If interested in 1st shift, must be able to work as early as 4 am.Most of our positions are four hour shifts so must be willing to work four hour shifts M-F and every third weekend.

All positions are required to work every 3rd weekend, and 1 holiday a year

Part time inpatient is 4 – 8 am Monday - Friday

Availability to train 1st shift M-F, full time hours for up to 8 weeksValid driver's license and reliable transportation required50% of the work is done on a computer- orders, registration, data entry, etc.Ability to type 40 words per minute.ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (must obtain certification within one year of hire) preferred.3 years of Phleb work and experienced in EPIC preferredIf you are looking for an opportunity to work with a team that is transforming care in the community and leading the way toward excellence in customer service and clinical outcomes, this is the career path for you. High volume work, 50% of duties involve computer utilization with targets to meet. Provides clerical support to the Pathology Department and other duties as assigned.Main Hospital Inpatient PhlebotomistAt the main hospital servicing inpatients, processing and registration of samples received from physician offices for testing.Outpatient Health Park PhlebotomistMay be located at any outpatient draw stations around Grand Rapids; required to float to any health park when needed.
