In this partially REMOTE (3 days remote a week) role, you will need to excel at explaining intricate technical information to the non-technical user. This Desktop Support Analyst role is a permanent opportunity based in the Grand Rapids, Michigan, area.How you will make an impact- Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors- Give support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Fix computer problems, and recommend appropriate action/solutions- Develop records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Interface regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Preserve, inspect, and mend computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals Requirements - 3+ years of desktop support or other related experience- General familiarity with Computer Hardware- Hardware & software installation experience highly preferred- Practical knowledge of Desktop Hardware- Adeptness in Mobile Tablet- Deskside Support experience- Demonstrated knowledge of Network Printers- Break Fix experience required- Deep understanding of system administration- Mobile Device Management experience- Mobile Device Support experience highly desired- Ability to quickly write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
