This position works within the Custodial and Auxiliary Services Business Office team, providing strategic support, guidance, and customer service for our staff. This role collaborates with the Business Office Manager to implement and execute business practices that enhance our workforce and operational activities. This position oversees administrative efforts across recruitment/hiring, onboarding, performance management, training, and retention within our department.This position is also responsible for entering accurate data, actively participating in team meetings, managing special projects related to operations, and possessing a broad knowledge of university ordinances and policies, as well as expert knowledge of IPF operations, policies, and procedures.A comprehensive understanding of university ordinances and policies, along with expert knowledge of IPF operations, policies, and procedures, is essential. This role may also involve preparing travel authorizations, submitting disbursement vouchers, completing I9 verifications, managing multiple service request workbenches, performing clerical duties, answering phones, dispatching response teams, and serving as a direct customer representative to guide and assist staff, customers, vendors, and campus partners.It is crucial for this position to communicate effectively across various organizational levels. One to three years of experience working in a Project Management, Event Management, or Human Resources field. Work experience or knowledge of custodial industry practices. Experience with Microsoft 365 applications with an emphasis on Excel. Public speaking experience and/or experience with presentation software. Experience with work order management systems/software or personnel management systems/software. Experience with process mapping and documentation.
