Ideal candidates will have demonstrated professional expertise in one or more areas listed, as well as teaching experience.Teaching responsibilities may include one or more courses in any of the Schools concentration areas and minors, which include:Animation and Comics StorytellingAudio StorytellingBroadcast JournalismDocumentary ProductionEntrepreneurship and InnovationEnvironment, Science and HealthFilmmakingInformation GraphicsInternational ReportingMedia DesignMedia RelationsMulticam Production/TelevisionPhotojournalism/Media PhotographyPublic RelationsSports JournalismWriting, Reporting, and EditingReview of applicants in this pool is ongoing and continuous. The roster of open courses changes from semester to semester, and it is possible at times there are no open positions.Initial appointments are for one semester or one year, depending on the course structure, but may be renewed based on funding and performance. Positions rank will be at the level of assistant instructor, instructor, or assistant professor. Previous teaching experience is valued.
