Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, weld symbols, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately create equipment and products
Understand requirements of building fixtures for fabrication from drawings provided
Create specific weldment set-ups and fixturing to meet geometric requirements
Operate calipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tool
Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
Looking for employees that can run jobs from start to end in shop
Minimum 5 years’ experience fitting & fabrication.
Excellent welding capabilities a must.
Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
Experience operation of general shop equipment, i.e. Hi-Lo, Overhead Crane, Small hand tools, Torches, etc.
Must have own tools
Maintains work area and reports completion status of all work as required.
