CNC Lathe Set-up Operator

We are a manufacturing company in business for more than 40 years looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Set-up Operator to join our team. Our candidate will be skilled in setting up and operating HAAS CNC lathes. The company is looking for an employee with a positive work ethic, a team player and is eager to work.
Job Description:
Position is in a non-production environment.
Experienced with all aspects of the turning process, including programming, set-up, inspection and hard turning.
Ability to read and interpret a variety of customer drawings
Ensure and inspect parts to meet dimensional and tolerance requirements
Low-volume runs, but require fast-pace output.
Employee should possess his/her own tools
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines
Position available for day shift located in Rochester Hills, Michigan
Required Skills:
Proficient understanding of blueprints including GD&T
Knowledge of the operation of Mori-Seiki and Haas lathes preferred.
Must possess basic math skills
Ability to use measurement tools (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc)
Knowledge of reading blue prints and measurement tools with accuracy
Position available for the day shift located in Rochester Hills, Michigan
Must be able to stand on your feet and lift 30 pounds
