Paralegal (Disability Law)
Rapidly growing Disability and Litigation Law Firm seeks Paralegal to assist Attorneys with client case management in Social Security Disability cases. Come work in a dynamic environment, where each day you get the opportunity to truly make a difference in our client's lives We are looking for someone with 2+ years of experience as a Paralegal, in any area of practice. No prior experience with Social Security Disability is required.
Job duties include:
Frequent telephone and email contact with clients
Assisting Attorneys with all aspects of case preparation for Social Security Disability Hearings, including file reviews, ordering medical records, preparing evidence for submission, gathering medical questionnaires from treating providers, and other tasks as needed on a case-by-base basis.
Reviewing medical records
Ordering medical records
Frequent communication with Social Security offices
Assisting clients with their paperwork as needed in the Social Security Disability process
Strong attention to detail and deadlines
Developing a strong understanding of the Social Security Disability process
Developing a strong understanding of a wide array of medical issues
Use of legal management software
Attention to detail in a fast-paced and environment
The ability to conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism
Some administrative assistant duties as needed
