What You’ll Do:
Monitor the school for needed repairs and perform routine maintenance.
Handle basic carpentry, electrical wiring, drywall repair, and painting.
Maintain grounds and assist with light custodial tasks.
Communicate with contractors to schedule and oversee major repairs.
Who We’re Looking For:
Experience in commercial or residential handyman work (basic carpentry, electrical, drywall, painting skills required).
Physically active and comfortable being on your feet for 7-8 hours daily.
Strong communication, patience, and listening skills to work in a school setting.
Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check (required for school employment).
Preference for candidates within 15 miles of Detroit, MI 48238 (near John C. Lodge Fwy & Wyoming Ave).
