Urgently Needed Delivery person one or two days a week around SE MI. Our small bakery needs a person to make deliveries one or two days a week (8-3 ish) around the greater Detroit area to gourmet grocery stores/markets. Cases being delivered are 10" X 12" X 6" weighing aprox. 11 - 12 pounds. A hand truck/dolly is provided along with company transit van and gas. Prospective hire must have phone with GPS, must be able to follow directions exactly as stated, able to read addresses, a problem solver, an excellent driving record, and able lift 12 pounds repeatedly over the course of the day. Driver will obtain cases from a warehouse in Oak Park (where we produce them) directly from a freezer. This is not a job which pays cash or under the table. 1099 worker, paid twice a month. Starting pay is $15/hr and does increase with attendance and job efficency.
