Job Overview:
Must have irrigation experience to apply. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge of irrigation systems and landscaping techniques.
Duties:
- Perform regular maintenance on existing irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with irrigation systems, including leaks, clogs, and broken components
- Adjust sprinkler heads to ensure proper coverage and minimize water waste
- Program and set irrigation timers for optimal watering schedules
- Monitor water usage and make recommendations for water conservation
- Collaborate with landscape designers and contractors to ensure proper installation and functionality of irrigation systems
- Maintain inventory of irrigation supplies and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in irrigation system maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of lawn care and landscape maintenance practices
- Ability to dig trenches, build irrigation lines, and operate hand tools
- Familiarity with garden and landscape design principles
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair irrigation system components
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
