Job Posting: Full-Time Enrichment Coach for Dog Daycare Program

Position: Full-Time Enrichment Coach

Hours: Monday - Friday, 36-40 hours per week and a 3-hour shift on certain holidays

Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour (raises available based on performance and completion of the probationary period)

Job Responsibilities:

As an Enrichment Coach, you will be responsible for:

Daily Enrichment Sessions: Conduct three enrichment sessions daily with dogs to engage them mentally, physically, and emotionally. On average, 12-15 dogs per day.

Lesson Planning: Creating a monthly calendar with lesson plans tailored to various ability levels, incorporating a range of enrichment activities and obedience commands.

Basic Training: Working with dogs individually on basic training commands and other cognitive and sensory activities.

Positive Reinforcement: Interacting with dogs using positive reinforcement techniques, toys, tools, and equipment to ensure safe play and minimize stress levels.

Behavior Troubleshooting: Addressing dog behavior issues and enrichment handling problems, utilizing basic training skills for dogs needing extra attention.

Client Communication: Collaborating with clients and company management to resolve behavior issues and communicate concerns or accomplishments to dog owners.

Social Media Engagement: Create Facebook posts for our closed group, offering tips to enrichment pet parents on continuing their pet training at home.

Teamwork and Administration: Working in an environment that values teamwork, diversity, and a passion for animals, with some computer and written work.
