PC Technician

DescriptionDAY-TO-DAYRESPONSIBILITIES: - Majority of the calls are for Password Resets (60% of thesecalls) Nature of other calls include - Basic Program troubleshooting-programs not working correctly, excel freezing, Emails (Outlook issues) -Ticket Creating (E-Desk) - Taking about 45-50 calls a day during high volume,35 calls on average. ADDITIONALRESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: Provide Help Desk support and technicalassistance to end users. Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware andsoftware issues. Installs, configures and maintains PC operating systems,network operating systems and related software applications. Log and track alluser's requests and support interactions. Provide backup support to theoperations support team for the daily operations tasks. Perform routinepreventative maintenance on computer systems. Monitor Data Center environmentand provide necessary communications on status Assist with the development andmaintenance of a knowledge base of support issues Identify and escalatesituations requiring urgent attention.
