Minimum Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in IT security
- 3 years leadership experience
- Strong interpersonal skills with an extreme passion for client service both internally and externally
- Extensive knowledge of Rock Central Information Security delivery team processes
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Global Information Assurance Certification, GIAC Security Essentials or other security certifications
- Excellent written, verbal and visual/presentation communication skills
- Strong leadership, negotiating, influencing and collaboration skills
- Analytical mindset balanced with creativity to seek, encourage and find effective mitigation approaches
- Strong sense of urgency and initiative
- Bachelor?s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent experience
- Solid understanding of IT constructs, such as servers, networking, operating systems, development, storage and cloud technologies
- Solid understanding of information security constructs, such as encryption, identity and access, risk analysis, threat hunting, vulnerability management, data loss prevention, intrusion detection/prevention systems, governance, exploitations and threat landscapes
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Partner with business leaders to ensure alignment with their objectives, policies and improvement efforts
- Actively participate in objective and key result creation/delegation for technology operations and Rock Central Information Security
- Create visibility and accountability through trend identification and escalation to senior leaders
- Proactively collaborate with the Pulse and senior leaders on forecasting and staffing talent needs for both their team and the larger team
- Contribute strategic ideas and innovative thinking to strengthen the impact of the Rocket Technology team
- Communicate and embody the culture, vision and overall direction of their team?
- Lead, guide and evaluate the work of direct reports?
- Work with senior leadership to implement the strategic plan for the team
- Effectively communicate expectations to all team members?
- Identify innovative solutions to processes and business challenges
- Ability to analyze layers of security, compensating factors and the overall quality of Information Security when making decisions
- Professional development: Maintain leadership training, stay updated on industry trends, enhance subject matter expertise and mentor others
