Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor?s degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications ?

1 year of experience in workstation or server administration
1 year of experience in systems engineering
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
Experience with scripting languages
Knowledge of Linux and Windows servers

Job SummaryThe Associate Systems Engineer is responsible for building and integrating server infrastructure as well as ensuring the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions.

Responsibilities

Manage server upgrades OS/Patching
Install, support and configure software applications
Create documentation for new and existing infrastructure solutions
Identify areas to build automation around redundant tasks
Collaborate with developers and clients to solution
Work with systems engineers/architecture group on building cloud solutions
Administer server backup and recovery
Participate in an on-call rotation
