Description:The Painter will be responsible for preparing, masking/unmasking, painting and inspecting aerospace components.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, instructions and quality requirements Load aerospace components on racks and prepare surfaces to assure proper adhesion. This includes the use of agents to accomplish typical operations such asremoval of corrosion Mask and unmask required areas to facilitate corrosion removal or painting operations. Prepare and set up all equipment and supplies to perform work assignment. Prepare the various paint materials (such as primer, enamels, lacquers, etc.) perspecifications. Clean & service spray guns, paint tanks, brushes, hoses & related equipment after use Operate ovens and ensure the curing and air filtering equipment are functioning and inproper mode for current process (such as oven temperature, booth pressure drop, breathing air, humidity, etc) and document as required. Monitor and maintain time sensitive materials. Maintain material traceability thru the painting process Enter time into MRP system (Visual Shop) and move the job to the next operation.
