Position Description: The Video Production Specialist will be a collaborative team player, who has a passion for developing ideas and translating them into visuals from pre-production to post-production. They will be an organized problem solver who can plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously and independently, with viable solutions to overcome any roadblock. Responsibilities and Required Skills:- Create video briefs, scripts, storyboards and interview questions.
- Manage, schedule, brief and conduct and guide interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
- Record virtual interviews via Camtasia.
- Demonstrable knowledge of the post-production process (editing in Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Audition and After Effects).
- Create graphics in Illustrator or Photoshop.
- Create motion graphics in After Effects.
- Media coordination and file management. For in person recording:
- Working knowledge of the production process (camera set-up, sound and lighting setup, etc.)
- Ability to capture audio and video footage without assistance
- Skills Required:
- Videography, Photography experience
- Experience using Camtasia and the Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, etc.)
- Sharp verbal and written communication skills.
- Participate in campaign/communications planning and execution.
- Support the TO website, including creating, adding and revising content as necessary.
- Create copy for video descriptions and promotion - help support TO events by recording via Camtasia.
- Maintain projects in team Kanban (experience with Rally tool a bonus).
- Writing in a script and/or blog format.
- Social media marketing experience.
- 2D/3D animation creation using after effects (or similar programs).
- Working knowledge of Rally.
- Degree in Communications or Film and Video.
