Shipping and Receiving Associate

We have an immediate opening for a Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our Michigan office located in Commerce Twp. The Shipping and Receiving Associate will be an integral part of internal company operations. We seek individuals with technical aptitude and a great attitude.Primary roleOversee all shipping, receiving and inventory related activities in an accurate timely manner.Detailed ActivitiesManage all shipping and receiving (incoming/outgoing deliveries)Ensure accuracy of shipments and documentation throughout the shipping processMaintain inventory control processes, monitor inventory levels, and assist in cycle counts as neededMaintain a safe and clean work environmentExamine and inspect items for defects and damage, reporting all damaged packages to the supervisor immediatelyReceive and put away incoming shipments in a timely and organized fashionAdheres to receiving procedures to meet the order fulfillment demands and maintain accuracyMaintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and efficiencyOther projects as assigned
