Web Designer Lead Location: Auburn Hills, MIDuration: 14 months

Description:Web Designer Lead will create, implement and maintain the user interface of the web presence.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:- Gather, publish and update information and coordinate projects to design and maintain department and other websites.- Monitor and maintain consistency and currency of information and links.- Collaborate with web services team members on projects and team needs.- Contribute ideas and input that help solve usability challenges, support business goals and deliver excellent user experience.- Maintain cross-platform and cross-browser compatibility.

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 5+ years of related experience required.- Experience creating original designs developing cross-browser/cross-platform compatible web sites.- Expertise in writing valid HTML and CSS code by hand.- Experience with Adobe ColdFusion- Experience in writing Java Script- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Studies.- Experience with IIS and SQL- Solid understanding of web standards, usability and accessibility.- Excellent eye for color, composition, interface design and typography.- Experience with web-connected databases, e-commerce.- Experience with content management systems.- Understanding of web analytics with the ability to use these metrics to achieve business goals.
