- Designing and testing HIL harness’
- Design, test, and deploy hardware modifications
- Assisting with new powertrain hardware and ECU designs to integrate new features or external devices to the HIL test system
- Assisting in harness build and modifications and troubleshooting of HIL hardware issues
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other suitable degree related to Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the electronics, hardware, automotive industry
- Experience with plant and controller modeling, simulation, development, testing, and validation
- Knowledge and experience with electrified powertrain systems
- Demonstrated Hardware- In-the-Loop systems experience (dSPACE, ETAS, NI HIL systems)
- Experience with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/SIMULINK
- Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Strong ability to work directly with individuals and groups
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Self-starter who can work cross-functionally with other people
