Job Title: Lathe MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking dedicated and skilled Lathe Machinists for both 1st and 2nd shifts. In this role, you will machine details from plate or flat stock according to blueprints to exact dimensions, producing hot runners for the plastic injection industry. The materials used include steel, copper, nickel, and more.Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints
Utilize measuring tools accurately
Sharpen cutting tools as needed
Perform own set-ups on machines
Download and alter programs when necessary
Machine material to print specifications
Operate and use overhead crane safely
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years experience with 3-axis lathe
Proficient in blueprint reading
Ability to read digital micrometers and calipers
Experience editing programs on Haas/Fanuc controls
Familiarity with G&M code editing
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with programming is a plus

Working hours for the 1st shift are from 7am to 3:30pm, extending to 5:30pm when busy, with Saturdays from 7am to 1pm. The 2nd shift runs from 7pm to 3:30am, extending to 5:30am when busy, with Saturdays from 2pm to 8pm.
