Represent the company's interests throughout project lifecycles.
Oversee and coordinate engineering aspects to meet safety, regulatory compliance, quality, cost-effectiveness, and schedule adherence.
Develop and enforce engineering, equipment, and construction specifications.
Provide engineering support for project development activities (feasibility studies, conceptual design, cost estimating).
Oversee development of detailed design documents by external Engineers of Record.
Review engineering drawings and calculations for construction projects.
Develop technical specifications and bid documents for contracts.
Lead technical bid evaluations for engineering and construction contracts.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to meet project objectives.
Perform shop inspections and field engineering to resolve construction issues.
Skills:
Experience in the design, construction, or operation of natural gas compressor station equipment.
Knowledge of relevant safety standards and codes (e.g., CFR 49 Part 192, ASME Codes, API Specifications).
Experience in procurement and contract document development.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
5+ years of applied engineering experience.
