The Framing Foreman is responsible for overseeing and managing framing crews on residential or commercial construction sites. This includes ensuring structural framing is completed according to blueprints, quality standards, and building codes. The Foreman leads by example, ensuring safety, productivity, and teamwork while coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, coordinate, and schedule daily work activities for framing crews.
Interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications.
Ensure framing is completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes and quality standards.
Provide hands-on support as needed (e.g., measuring, cutting, installing framing components).
Qualifications:
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in wood or metal stud framing, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of framing systems, structural integrity, and OSHA safety regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Physical ability to work in various conditions (lifting, climbing, standing for long periods).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Able to work in United States.
