Reporting to the HR Data & Analytics Director, you will identify technical solutions to complex problems, performing detailed data analyses, and managing projects to implement those solutions that meet the diverse needs of university leadership and our HR campus units.We value accuracy, data integrity, and responsiveness, and we are excited to welcome a team member who can enhance our reporting and distribution functions through the analysis of current processes and creation of technical improvements. Develop a comprehensive understanding of human resource processes, production systems, enterprise-wide data warehouses, and departmental reporting structures to support institutional and ad hoc data analyses and report requests.
Identify, design or improve, and implement design patterns, workflows and tools; Enforce standards to maintain HR platform effectiveness and sustainability; Experiment with and promote adoption of new technologies and approaches.
Respond to and resolve customer and partner inquiries and issues while ensuring a high service level; Compile and analyze information using data related to human resources, benefits and payroll to produce relevant analyses.
Collaborate with team members, IT partners, and units to deliver and interpret data for complex projects; Create intuitive data visualizations and reports.
Maintain institutional reports such as IPEDS, Affirmative Action Plan, Faculty/Staff Salary Disclosure Report and several surveys; Identify relevant enhancements.
Conduct statistical analysis using human resource data to forecast, measure risk and ensure compliance for multiple employment regulations.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant computer science or information systems discipline.
5 or more years of application programming and quantitative data analysis involving statistical analysis, data science and data management.
1 or more years of experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
Experience with best practices and principles working with complex data sets using SQL, query design, data validation/automation and analytic functions.
Ability to achieve high-quality work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
Demonstrative storytelling skills and an understanding of HR data using presentation tools.
