Responsibilities
Coordinate and maintain the schedules of the Rehab Technology Suppliers (RTS), Physical Therapists (PT), and Biomedical Engineering Technicians (BMET) in Epic/MiChart system.
Triage referrals and orders to assess patients' diagnosis, need for equipment, and review qualifications for complex rehab equipment.
Complete patient and order demographics in computer system.
Obtain PT authorizations.
Facilitate communications between physician, clinical team and the patient regarding orders, physician visit notes, and equipment needs.
Collaborate with multiple school districts
Maintain and manage MiChart in-basket requests, non-encounter messages, and patient call messages in a timely manner.
Assist in training new team members, providing resources to facilitate learning.
Adaptability and flexibility in all aspects or work assignments.
Participate in department/unit activities including, but not limited to, staff meetings and in-services.
Perform other duties as assigned to maintain the efficiency of the department.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
2 years of customer service experience.
Intermediate:
2-5 years of experience
Senior:
5-8 years of experience

Demonstrates active listening, written, verbal, and information technology skills.
Adheres to high standards of personal and professional conduct.

This position is a remote position where you will work from home/virtually once training is completed and performance-based competency has been obtained. High speed internet is a requirement for this position and the cost is the responsibility of the staff member.
