Architect and build TeamUp’s scalable and reliable product as well as core backend components for complex systems, focusing on performance, scalability, flexibility, and security
Take ownership for designing, building, and maintaining our REST APIs, data models, and business logic
Work closely with our Product, QA, and frontend engineering teams to help shape the product roadmap and deliver well-thought-out and stable solutions to our customers' most important needs
Ensure that the architecture matches industry-standard security policies (and vice-versa), helping to establish processes to drive operational excellence in critical areas such as systems reliability and SLA management
Debug production issues across multiple services and levels of the stack
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
Required Skills
Prior experience with web application backends
Have experience with Python, Django and SQL
Open to joining a fast-paced environment
3+ years of working experience
Nice to have
You have experience leading a team and mentoring team members
BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or other technical degrees
Experience working on both backend and frontend projects
