We're hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to help manage maintenance operations across a
large portfolio of residential apartment buildings throughout Worcester County. This role is perfect
for someone who's hands-on, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment with variety every
day.
This is not a 9-to-5 position. You'll be expected to respond to issues as they come up-weekends,
evenings, and emergencies included. If you're the kind of person who knows how to get things done, doesn't mind jumping into a tough job, and enjoys staying busy, this might be the perfect fit.
What You'll Do:
- Handle general property maintenance: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance fixes, basic HVAC
- Complete apartment turnovers including patching, painting, and fixture replacements
- Respond to tenant maintenance requests quickly and professionally
- Be on-call for urgent issues, including weekends
- Travel between multiple apartment buildings across Worcester County
- Perform property walk-throughs, preventive maintenance, and light inspections
- Communicate with property management and keep logs of work completed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of general maintenance experience (preferably in multifamily/apartment buildings)
- Skilled in basic trades - plumbing, electric, painting, carpentry
- Ability to work independently and manage your own daily schedule
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (you'll be traveling daily)
- Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work indoors/outdoors
- Must be available for on-call shifts, including weekends
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a strong plus
