As the Data Analyst, you will be responsible for specializing in working with large and complex data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of business strategies. You will also identify and compile data sets using a variety of tools to help predict, improve, and measure the success of key business-to-business outcomes. Additionally, while in this role, you will be responsible for assisting the advanced analytics and BI reporting teams with ad hoc analysis as needed. Most importantly, you’ll feel valued for who you are and supported to achieve what’s important to you, personally and professionally!Primary responsibilities include

Work with functions to conduct scenario planning and analysis, and interpret trends and variances.

Build business requirements, executes projects and derive business insights. Communicate and consume cross functional insights and analysis results to Leadership through reports and presentations.

Ensure analytics solution meets the business requirements. Work with business owners to translate business activities and objectives into parameters for analytical models.

Understand how to run queries to pull data extracts, synthesize analyses, and interpret trends and variances.

Collaborate with team members to understand, communicate, and implement analytics and process best practices.

Identify opportunities for process optimization.

Conduct ad hoc analysis using basic financial tools as needed.

Required Skills/Experience:

Solid understanding of consumer banking/financial products and business processes

Experience doing data discovery and analysis work with one or more commonly-used business intelligence tools, such as Tableau, SAS, Oracle, Microsoft, WebFocus, etc.

Experience working with various operating systems (Windows, Unix/Linux) and database management systems (AWS Redshift, Oracle, MS-SQL, etc.).

Experience working with cloud solutions like AWS, Snowflake etc.

Ability to collaborate effectively, take initiative and work as part of a team

Strong attention to detail

Desirable Skills/Experience:

Data exploration experience using both SQL and not-only-SQL tools and techniques.

Data design or data management experience is a plus.

Experience with Agile process is preferred

Experience in the financial services industry, especially banking.

Educational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:Required:

3+ years of experience as described above + a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Computer science

Or 1+ years of experience as described above + a Master’s Degree in those disciplines

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: 9-5
