The Hangar Pub & Grill is currently accepting applications for someone to join our commissary team. We use a refrigerated van to bring food from one location to the others 6 days of the week. Part of this job would include driving and part would be helping to prep the food for commissary. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
On the days you are driving, you would be responsible for gathering all of the items on the list for each location and maintaining safety standards in the process (no cross-contamination, temperature monitoring, etc). Upon arrival at each location, you would be responsible for unloading those items and rotating them into the building. You would have someone sign the invoice of what you brought. Unloading at each location would take 15-30mins depending on how much they ordered. These are not large food deliveries. You will be driving a refrigerated van, so a regular driver's license is all that is needed, plus the ability to use an iPhone.
On the days you are helping prep, you will be working side-by-side with others steaming chicken wings, smoking meats, and helping to portion out food items to their appropriate size/weight. Depending on your availability, you may do more prep or more driving. We are looking for someone that is capable of doing both.
The individual we want to hire would be someone that can come into work and efficiently follow a task sheet for the day. This position has the potential to grow as our company grows and we are looking for someone that can learn and adapt with us. Pay DOE and can be discussed during interview process.
