The position is for an experienced auto technician with the ability to diagnose and fix a wide range of automobile problems. In addition, the chosen applicant will be in charge of conducting state inspections on cars to guarantee compliance with all safety and emissions regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Numerous automobile problems, such as those involving the engine, transmission, brakes, and suspension, can be identified and fixed.
Carry out regular maintenance tasks like tire rotations, fluid checks, and oil changes.
Utilize diagnostic devices and tools to locate and resolve challenging issues.
Maintain thorough and precise records of all the work you do and the parts you utilize.
Communicate with clients regarding the status of their vehicles and give advice for repairs or upkeep.
Make sure that all work is done in accordance with environmental and safety laws.
Stay abreast of the most recent developments in automotive technology and market trends.
Assist with other tasks as required, such as cleaning the shop and placing parts orders.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or its equivalent.
5+ years' worth of expertise as an auto technician is preferred.
Being Familiar with European Vehicles is a Big Plus.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
familiarity with an array of diagnostic instruments and apparatus.
Good communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must have a valid driver's license.
