Position Summary:

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a critical role in the production process, designing, implementing, and improving manufacturing systems and processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure high-quality output. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, solve problems, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer with management experience to oversee and optimize our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles, lean manufacturing, and process improvement while also demonstrating leadership abilities to manage teams and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and quality.

● Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and production staff.

● Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to enhance product manufacturability.

● Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.

● Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

● Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and training materials.

● Oversee the implementation of automation and advanced manufacturing technologies.

● Drive cost reduction and waste elimination initiatives.

● Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues promptly.

● Participate in budgeting and resource planning for manufacturing operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

● Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

● Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies is an asset.

● Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing-related technologies.

● Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

● Strong leadership, communication, and project management abilities.

● Experience with automation, CNC machining, or robotics is a plus.

● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
