Job Title: Machine Operator (Chemical Manufacturing)
Job Summary:
A Machine Operator in a chemical company is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment used in the manufacturing of chemical products. The role involves ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
-Operate and monitor chemical processing machines and equipment
-Adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency
-Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
-Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
-Document production data and report any deviations
-Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
Qualifications:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Basic math skills/ knowledge
-Experience in machine operation, preferably in a chemical or manufacturing setting
-Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
-Understanding of safety and handling procedures for chemicals
-Ability to understand instructions in English
-Able to work independently and with a team
-Attention to detail is a MUST
-Must be reliable and be able to work 8:00am -4:30pm Monday through Friday with overtime and certain changes in schedule due to holidays.
