As aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)for MiraVista inHolyoke, Massachusetts,you’ll bring your experience and knowledge where your voice matters. A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an integral part of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will provide direct care and support not only to our patients but also their families and make decisions that impact the lives of your peers, your patients, and your community. In exchange, we will care for you, as much as you care for our patients.
How You Care for Our Patients
As aLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN),you willcare for individuals in need of psychiatric, emotional, and substance use treatment. You will be a champion for our patients and support the team around you. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in MiraVistas’ core principles. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).

We are currently staffing for the following programs:
Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Care
Inpatient Substance Use Disorders/Detox
Clinical Stabilization Service (CSS) - Substance Use Disorder Program
Inpatient Adolescent Psychiatric Care
You Bring Meaningful Experience
Successful candidates will have the following:
Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the State of Massachusetts
CPR certification
Knowledge of behavior health and substance use disorders treatment modalities
Ability to develop a therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries
Previous experience is preferred in psychiatric or substance use disorders inpatient care, restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention

MiraVista Behavioral Health Center is a new healthcare provider created to bring much needed psychiatric and substance use disorder services to Western Massachusetts. We opened in April 2021 and are rapidly growing our treatment programs to meet the needs of the Pioneer Valley.
