Manager, Commercial Finance

Deciphera is seeking a Manager, Gross Margin to be based in Waltham MA, the company’s headquarters. The Manager, Gross Margin will support the company’s Commercial Finance function to support the company’s current products on the market, QINLOCK  and ROMVIMZA and prepare for multiple product launches planned over the next several years.  This is a position that provides exposure to Revenue recognition, Gross to Net and commercial OPEX.The successful candidate will have experience in bio-pharmaceutical industry. S/he will possess strong organizational and communication skillsThis position reports to the Director, Commercial Finance.Key Responsibilities:Revenue recognition, gross to net accounting and financial reporting of monthly/quarterly results.Monthly review of commercial Operating expense budget to actualsSupport efforts to build the Company’s capability to provide revenue guidance and report against such guidance by Day 3 of the closePartner with Accounting and Commercial counterparts on all aspects of Revenue Reporting. Includes working with multiple data systems, reviewing sales orders to determine gross-to-net assumptions (government rebate programs, returns reserve and other adjustment to revenue).Lead collaboration revenue process including calculating reimbursements and invoicing partners.Prepare internal reporting packages for revenue and commercial OPEX for monthly review with internal leadership and Japanese counterparts.Support Director of Commercial finance in analyzing key strategic areas including pricing dynamics and contract administration.Assist with special projects and analysis. Advocate for continuous improvement initiatives.
