Qualifications for Homemaker / Personal Care Aides (PCAs):
Minimum one year work experience (does not need to be in health care)
Job Responsibilities for Homemaker / Personal Care Aides (PCAs):
Activities of daily living
Range of motion / exercises
Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices
Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
Assisting with ambulation
Medication assistance
