VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital , located just north of Boston in Wakefield, Massachusetts, is looking for an Associate Veterinarian who enjoys practicing advanced medicine with a cohesive, tenured team in a Fear FreeTM environment.Come join us in our beautiful new state-of-the-art facility! We see plenty of dogs (50%) and cats (30%), and experience with birds, reptiles, and/or small mammals (20%) would be a plus but is not a requirement. Equipment includes ultrasound, multiple dental suites, and sevoflurane.Our brand new facility was designed with the comfort of our patients in mind. Dogs are separated from other species in our lobbies, exam rooms, and treatment areas, and iCalm music is played throughout. Most of our 12 doctors, 15 CVTs, 14 assistants, and 21 client service representatives are Fear Free™ Certified Professionals, and we are committed to making veterinary visits a great experience for our patients and their people.Our doctors work four-day weeks, and are on weekend rotations.
