Description We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Bookkeeper for a role based in Sunderland, Massachusetts. The primary function of this role is to manage all financial records and transactions, including account reconciliations, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for the organization Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance Handle accounts payable duties, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports Oversee accounts receivable, including creating invoices, processing payments, and addressing delinquencies Conduct regular bank reconciliations to monitor financial transactions Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial record keeping Perform month-end close procedures to prepare for new accounting periods Process payroll for all employees in a timely and accurate manner Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.Requirements Proficiency in account reconciliation and data entry. Demonstrated experience with accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR). Familiarity with bank reconciliations. Strong bookkeeping skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with month-end close procedures. Knowledge of payroll processes and systems. Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Attention to detail and accuracy in all work. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
