Legal Assistant wanted for a small busy law firm with 6 attorneys in Braintree, Massachusetts, handling primarily personal injury matters.
The position is full-time or part-time (30 hours minimum). Experience in the field of civil litigation, preferably personal injury, is preferred.
Candidates should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and excellent computer skills. Responsibilities are varied and include administrative assistance to attorneys; some drafting of pleadings; motion preparation and filing; requesting, reviewing and indexing of medical records and bills; court filings; draft correspondence; handle multiple calendars; and interact with clients, insurance company adjusters and defense counsel.
Spanish speaking a plus, but not required.
