UNIT DESCRIPTION:
3 East is a 29 bed medical surgical/telemetry unit with a focus unit for cardiac and medical patients who have a need for cardiac monitoring, education about their illness, treatment health restoration, and maintenance. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Current Massachusetts RN LicensePrior experience working as a RN preferredCurrent Telemetry experience or able to pass Telemetry Competency Exam within 90 days of beginning position. Current AHABLSCertification. Utilizes appropriate time management skills. Communicates effectively. RECOMMENDED REQUIREMENTS: Documented Professional Developmental activitiesKnowledge of Critical PathsCharge Nurse experience preferredBSN PreferredAHAACLSPreferred As with all job assignments, staff may be floated to areas where they are needed.
