COME WORK WITH US while we help build a world in which individuals with disabilities and other disadvantages realize their full potential.$500 sign on bonus ($250 at the completion of first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)  Position: Employment Specialist - Full TimeLocation: Peabody, MARate of Pay: $19.55 per hour; plus a $40 additional bi-weekly stipend for fluency in SpanishSchedule : 40 Hours per week; Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm with flexible Hybrid Options Summary: Support individuals with disabilities in reaching their vocational goalsCase manage and develop employment relationships between clients and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities.Work closely with State funding sources in a collaborative team approach.Assist clients with a variety of job seeking skills;  resume writing, interview skills, travel training and job etiquette. Get creative with providing; vocational guidance, job development, job placement, job coaching and customer relations with employer. "Candidates with human services, job coaching, residential care, direct care, and career counseling experience are strongly encouraged to apply! Candidates who are interested in a position with a healthy work life balance, are strongly encouraged to apply!" Qualifications:  High School/GED or Hi-SET plus 1-2 years related experience OR Associate’s degree plus 1 year related experience and/or training. One year of human service experience desired. Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations. Requirements: Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet essential. Must have a valid driver's license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, use of vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle. Must be able to travel within the region to access residential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.“Viability values our employees and the talents that they bring with them every day.
