Job Title: Warehouse Shipping and Receiving AssociateLocation: Marlborough, MACompany: AerotekJob Summary:Aerotek is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our dynamic team in Marlborough, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring that all products are accurately tracked and handled according to company standards. Your contributions will be essential in maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations and supporting our commitment to customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments; verify accuracy against purchase orders.
Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate inventory records, including data entry and physical counts.
Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and resolve any shipping or receiving discrepancies.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as required.
Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate deliveries and shipments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a warehouse environment.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items, as needed.
Forklift certification is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
