job detailsWe are looking for a 2nd shift Temporary Parts Room Clerk to support our Maintenance team. In this role, you will manage the inventory of parts and supplies essential for the maintenance and production teams. Your responsibilities will include cataloging and organizing parts, conducting cycle counts, and assisting with preventive and corrective maintenance work orders. You will also handle the purchasing and ordering of parts, generate purchase orders, and coordinate deliveries.You'll work closely with the Maintenance Manager and the planning team to ensure that the right materials are available when needed, contributing to efficient maintenance operations. Organization is key, as you will be expected to maintain a clean, well-organized stock area and manage the flow of parts and supplies. Additionally, you will communicate with vendors, process invoices, and handle any discrepancies in orders.This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced and critical aspect of our maintenance operations. If you're looking for a temporary role with the potential for future opportunities, this is the perfect place for you.salary: $20.99 - $21 per hourshift: Secondwork hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Catalog and record all parts for new and existing equipment ensuring accuracy and availability Receive and properly store all Maintenance parts and supplies Conducts cycle counts and put away supplies accordingly Issue and distribute Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work orders as directed by the Maintenance Manager Work closely with the planning function to ensure materials and lead times are taken into account to execute our plans Coordinate rebuilds and plans associated with PM's Assist employees in locating and checking out of parts and supplies Communicate effectively through verbal and written instructions with vendors and employees Conduct parts purchasing Close Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work orders Maintain the Maintenance Stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion Process invoices for payment and maintains vendor list Input data into Docuware Research discrepancies for payments and materials Process paper work Set up and pull kits Coordinate returns of goods mis-shipped or otherwise not required Deliver parts from stores in breakdown scenarios Other duties as assignedThe essential functions of this role include:
