Solidus is searching for a Software Engineer to assist with development of software for Blue Force Situational Awareness prototypes. The Software Engineer's tasking will focus primarily on front end development and visualization tasks, which are a critical aspect of the BFSA prototypes. The main responsibility will be front end graphical User Interface (UI) design, visualization, and User Experience (UX). Web-based applications are essential.
Additional job functions include: - Full lifecycle application development. Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages - Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis - Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD). Software modeling and simulation - Software testing and quality assurance. Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation - Supports, maintains and documents software functionality. Integrates software with existing systems - Evaluates and identifies new technologies for implementation - Maintains standards compliance.
