Solidus is searching for an RF engineer.The successful candidate will join a group whose members model, assemble and integrate prototype systems in both benchtop and experimental platforms. These systems need to be designed, instrumented, and tested. The group is developing novel communications systems and will prototype and field test the technologies. Strong experience with RF equipment, RF test equipment, and RF component and system design is required. Occasionally, support for field tests will be neededRequired Skills: - BS + 10 years of experience - 5 years experience with Active Microwave Circuits - 10 years experience with laboratory RF test equipment (i.e. spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.) - 10 years experience with RF and Analog Systems - 10 years experience with RF Signals (Antennas, EM Propagation and Modeling, Down-Conversion Receivers) - 10 years experience with Testing and EvaluationPreferred Skills: - Significant experience with RF test, setup, instrumentation, and execution of analog/RF systems. - Ability to perform RF design, cascade analysis, identify filters, LNAs, parts, etc. - Ability to assemble, design the system, and build out the test fixture - Ability to execute tests with the system, automate the test procedures, and generate and interpret performance resultsJob ID: 4036Applicants selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
