Description Our client in the Retail/Distribution industry is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join their team and play a key role in managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity for detail oriented growth, providing hands-on experience in journal entries, account reconciliations, employee expense reports, and budgeting. With a strong foundation in accounting principles, the Staff Accountant will work within established protocols and regulations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily financial operations. Advanced Excel skills are essential for success in this role, including the ability to merge and compare multiple data sources, analyze large datasets, and utilize complex formulas and functions. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or extensive relevant experience) and a natural flair for numbers, problem-solving, and process improvement.
