I am a 40 year old male with Cerebral Palsy, and I am looking for someone to help with a night shift. The shift would involve help with bowl care, a shower, help getting into bed, and occasional help with dinner.
This would be a part-time evening job, between 10-21 hours, we have been doing 8 PM-10 PM for all 7 days of the week. This would equal 14 hours, but could do 8 PM- 11 PM for a total of 21 hours, if this makes the job intriguing.
There would be minimal to no lifting, we have a sit-to-stand lift, we have a commode on wheels, and a roll-in shower. There might just be some light lifting to help me pull back for a readjustment on the commode . Just for your knowledge , I weigh about 220, but we will definitely try to keep the lifting to a minimum.
I am currently living with my parents and sister while waiting for housing, they do have two small dogs and a cat, just to avoid any allergy concerns.
If you need any more information please let me know, I am an open book. I look forward to hearing from you.
