We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating vehicle repairs and customization unique needs , and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Duties:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues
- Schedule appointments for vehicle repairs, customization unique needs
- Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Provide estimates for repairs and customization unique needs along with obtain customer approval
- Upsell additional services or products as appropriate
- Handle cash transactions and maintain cash drawer accuracy
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of brakes, suspension systems, engine repair, and other automotive customizational needs is a plus but not required
- Strong sales skills and ability to upsell products or services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
